Letter Campaign

Definition:

A strategy employed by activist investors to communicate their concerns, proposals, or demands to a company’s management, board of directors, and fellow shareholders through written letters, press releases, or other public statements. Letter campaigns are often used to articulate the activist’s investment thesis and rally support for their initiatives.
