Is your organization using up-to-date, proprietary, data-driven stock surveillance technology delivered via a CRM platform?

Invictus Sentinel is a proprietary data-driven stock surveillance platform that tracks ownership changes far in advance of public filings. Sentinel is designed to monitor and alert you to critical trading in your clients’ stocks and detects early signs of activist involvement, ownership shifts, and hard-to-identify activist tag-along investors.

The platform is powered by vast proprietary institutional proxy voting data from thousands of shareholder meetings, meticulously archived for over 20 years. This data allows us to uncover institutional investor activity beyond standard 13F filers, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, non-filing hedge funds and foreign investors.

Our data, matched with a dedicated analyst, offers a level of insight and precision unavailable from mainstream industry providers that are dependent on the repackaging of stale 13F data.

Why Choose INVICTUS SENTINEL?

INVICTUS SENTINEL empowers your team with visibility into institutional shareholder behavior. Built to simplify complex trading data, INVICTUS SENTINEL tracks institutional investor activity beyond standard 13F filers, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, non-filing hedge funds and foreign investors.

FAQs

What makes your data unique and valuable?

Alliance Advisors combines proprietary shareholder intelligence, real-time custodial data, and decades of proxy and activism expertise to deliver early warnings of shareholder movements and potential activist activity-capabilities that traditional surveillance and public data alone cannot provide.

How often do you update custodial records?

Custodial records and ownership intelligence are refreshed continuously. Most custodial feeds are updated daily, and Invictus Sentinel automatically incorporates new filings, position movements, and beneficial ownership disclosures as soon as they become available.

How accurate is your prediction / predictability?

Our models have proven highly accurate in identifying unusual trading activity, shareholder build-ups, and early signs of activism. Historically, Invictus Sentinel has anticipated shareholder shifts well in advance of public disclosure, giving clients time to prepare.

What is the pricing?

Pricing is a fixed monthly price per ticker with a 5-ticker minimum. This includes the ability to change tickers every 3 months. Sentinel pricing is competitive with legacy providers who charge an annual fee for just one ticker with no ability to change tickers. Law firms will receive complimentary access to the Invictus governance and stewardship data as long as Alliance Advisors is the named proxy solicitor.

Who at my firm can access this data?

Sentinel is an enterprise-wide solution that provides access by ticker rather than by license. All approved employees will receive direct portal access to each subscribed ticker at no additional cost.

Can I add or replace tickers?

Yes. Alliance Sentinel offers a unique subscription model that allows clients to substitute tickers once per quarter, rather than being locked into a fixed 12-month agreement.

Will I receive alerts for potential activism?

Yes. Invictus Sentinel automatically issues email alerts if its models detect potential activism or unusual shareholder activity requiring attention.

Do I need client approval to gain access?

Yes. Access is linked to either an issuer engagement or an advisory mandate. We coordinate with your firm and the corporate client to ensure proper authorization and a seamless onboarding process.

Who pays the DTC cost?

The Depository Trust Company requires issuers to pay for their annual subscription using their own credit card. Ultimately, it is up to the law firm to work out the cost of DTC subscription (approximately $2,000) with their client.

Are there other incremental costs?

If a client chooses to order a NOBO or bank list for a more detailed view of their holdings, the cost will vary based on the number of holders. Otherwise, there are no hidden or additional fees.

(e.g., additional custodial pulls, printing/mailing) are disclosed up front and billed at cost.)

Do other surveillance firms offer these products?

No. While several firms provide traditional stock surveillance, Invictus Sentinel is the only fully integrated platform offering real-time shareholder intelligence, early activism alerts, and cross-functional integration with governance and stewardship data.

Can this replace existing vendors?

Yes. Many clients find that Invictus Sentinel consolidates surveillance, ownership intelligence, and activism monitoring – reducing reliance on multiple third-party vendors. Please consult with your Alliance Advisors client advisor to learn more.

Does Alliance Advisors offer activism advisory?

Yes. Alliance Advisors has one of the industry’s leading activism advisory teams. We support defense or offense strategies, shareholder engagement, and vote projections, leveraging our data advantage.

Will we have an assigned analyst?

Yes. Each subscription comes with a dedicated analyst who monitors your tickers, provides deep dives on ownership positions, and is available for client/law firm discussions for data interpretations.

How is INVICTUS SENTINEL accessed?

No installation is required. INVICTUS SENTINEL is a secure, web-based platform accessible via computer or mobile device, with multi-factor authentication and encrypted log-in.

Activism & Governance Overview

Invictus Sentinel

Leveraging our proprietary database, refined over 18 years and built from hundreds of proxy campaigns, we are able to identify the institutional investors behind custodians with over 96% accuracy. This includes deep insight into not only who they are, but also how and when they typically vote, enabling us to anticipate voting behavior with a high degree of confidence.

Shareholder Engagement/Solicitation

Whether it’s navigating the complexities of a shareholder meeting or executing a post-meeting engagement strategy, our corporate governance experts deliver strategic guidance and practical support to help boards and management achieve their corporate objectives and align with stakeholder expectations.

Corporate Governance Team

Our team includes former ISS and Glass Lewis experts who understand how proxy advisors evaluate executive pay programs and governance structures. We provide strategic advice that helps executives anticipate potential red flags and align policies with evolving proxy voting guidelines. By identifying and addressing  concerns early, we position companies to earn shareholder support and minimize the risk of adverse vote recommendations.

Retail Outreach

We conduct a thorough analysis of your retail shareholder base to design and implement tailored outreach strategies that maximize engagement and support. Powered by our proprietary virtual agent platform, we enable rapid, scalable communication with retail and NOBO shareholders, ensuring timely, cost-effective outreach that drives results when it matters most.

Investor Relations

In a contested M&A transaction, Investor Relations (IR) plays a critical role in managing stakeholder communications and ensuring that the company’s narrative is consistently conveyed to both internal and external audiences. IR supports the client by helping to shape the messaging around the transaction, addressing investor concerns, and mitigating market volatility.

Proxy Logistics

Our Proxy Logistics Group offers a comprehensive, all-in-one solution designed to simplify every aspect of your shareholder meetings. From typesetting and filing to scheduling, production, vote tabulation, virtual meeting services, and overseeing the Inspector of Elections, we manage it all seamlessly.
