Custodian

Definition:

A financial institution or bank that holds and safeguards financial assets, such as stocks, bonds, and other securities, on behalf of institutional investors, individuals, or other entities. Custodians provide safekeeping, asset servicing, trade settlement, and other administrative services to clients to ensure the security and integrity of their investment portfolios.
