Reid Pearson is President, Global Advisory Services at Alliance Advisors and leads its corporate governance practice. Reid works with clients and partners on a number of proxy issues including solicitation strategy, shareholder engagement, Say-on-Pay, equity compensation plans, and other corporate governance matters. A respected figure in the field, Reid is a frequent speaker on corporate governance and equity compensation issues at the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and The Society for Corporate Governance.

Reid has been in the corporate governance and proxy industry since 1995. Reid worked for ten years at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS). His positions at ISS included Director of Custom Research, Senior Analyst, Director of Client Relations, and Manager of Strategic Partnerships. Reid was also a member of the proxy policy committee and oversaw the development and execution of the proxy voting guidelines of multiple institutional investors. He has worked with countless corporations and their advisors to help develop shareholder-friendly compensation plans. Reid is a graduate of the University of Georgia and resides in Atlanta.
