Oliver joined Alliance Advisors in 2025 and specializes in shareholder engagement, supporting clients on investor relations, governance matters, M&A, and shareholder activism situations.

He assists issuers with shareholder outreach, proxy solicitation, and engagement strategies ahead of key votes and annual meetings, helping companies understand shareholder perspectives and navigate communication with their investor base. Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, Oliver spent over half a decade focused on shareholder voting and corporate governance research at Proxy Insight and Diligent.

At Diligent, he was instrumental in developing the shareholder voting offering for the Diligent Market Intelligence product, leading initiatives to expand the platform’s scope and functionality to better serve leading corporations and institutional investors.

Oliver brings a broad understanding of the governance and capital-markets environment, where informed, constructive engagement between companies and investors can be pivotal to meeting outcomes and longer-term relationships.
