Stewardship Code

Definition:

A set of principles or guidelines established by regulatory authorities or industry associations to promote responsible and effective institutional shareholder engagement. Stewardship codes typically outline expectations for institutional investors regarding transparency, accountability, engagement with investee companies, and exercising voting rights.
