Carey Lo is Head of Client Solutions for Greater China at Alliance Advisors where she is responsible for client management in the Greater China region. She is an experienced corporate relations expert, having specialized in client relationship management for corporate advisory service since 2012.

Carey’s expertise encompasses corporate valuation, investor relations, shareholder identification, proxy advisory, share registry and ESG advisory services. Prior to joining Alliance, Carey held a client management role in a Hong Kong Exchange listed company and oversaw the provision of valuation and ESG advisory services to PRC and HK listed companies. She has also worked as a corporate relationship specialist, focusing on managing HK and Greater China clients for investor-related advisory services.

Carey holds a bachelor’s degree in Translation from Lingnan University of Hong Kong.

Race Chan (陳鋭然) is Vice President and Head of Investor Intelligence for Greater China at Alliance Advisors where he is responsible for shareholder identification and stock surveillance operations in the region.

Race is an experienced investor relations specialist, with over 10 years of experience in stock surveillance, shareholder tracking, targeting and engagement. Prior to joining Alliance, Race was the investor relations director at Wonderful Sky Financial Group, where he managed the Greater China team that provides market intelligence, gap analysis and advisory services to C-suite, board members, investor relations teams, intermediaries and legal advisors.  His team provided hundreds of shareholder surveillance reports and advisory services before the companies’ AGMs and EGMs. Race earned wide respect among clients and advisors for delivering results in ultrahigh identify rate and effective engagement solutions. Race has also worked with listed companies to develop coherent ESG strategies that comply with regulations and help them to get ready for the wave of sustainable investments.

Race holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Macquarie University, Australia.

Weiwen Gu joined Alliance Advisors in 2016 and has been involved in shareholder activism, corporate advisory, stock surveillance, proxy solicitation, and shareholder engagement functions.

As Vice President of Client Solutions, Weiwen has provided proxy solicitation and ESG advisory services to many publicly-traded companies across all sectors in Asia, including shareholder identification, proxy solicitation, ESG consulting and other services. In recent years Weiwen has worked on many of the largest proxy contests, M&A transactions, and other shareholder activist situations in Asia.

Weiwen received her Master’s degree in Finance from University of Maryland and her Bachelor’s from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
