Tom Ball is a Senior Vice President in the Proxy Solicitation Group at Alliance Advisors.  Tom is a recognized expert with extensive experience in corporate control transactions, proxy solicitations and corporate governance.  During his career he has specialized in activism and contested situations, strategic consultation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, proxy solicitation, SEC and state proxy regulations, REITs, rights offerings, equity and debt tender offers and complicated transactions requiring shareholder action.

Tom has appeared as an expert witness in Delaware Chancery Court, provided testimony to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the NYSE Corporate Governance Commission and consults with corporate secretaries, general counsels, treasurers, and board members, as well as law firms, investment banking firms, transfer agents, and Broadridge.

Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, Tom worked in the proxy solicitation business for over 30 years at Morrow Sodali LLC where he was a Managing Director and Member of the Executive Committee.
