Ira is a veteran, award winning mining investor relations advisor with over three decades of experience in the corporate communications realm. Following an extensive media and marketing career, Ira became the Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Tahoe Resources, a TSX- and NYSE-listed multinational mining company, before it was acquired by Pan American Silver. Following Tahoe, he was the Head of Investor Relations at Rye Patch Gold before their acquisition and then worked as president at G8 Strategies, advising over a dozen mining and exploration companies on investor relations. He has worked on over $1 billion in equity raises during his career.

Ira joined Alliance Advisors Investor Relations in 2024 through the acquisition of irlabs, which he joined in 2023. 

He holds an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, Reno, a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and has executive education from the Colorado School of Mines, Colombia University, NYU, Stanford and the Wharton School. He received his Accreditation in Public Relations in 2017.
