The 2022 proxy season is now underway and once again environmental and social (E&S) issues are front and center. Filings of E&S resolutions—at over 500—have already exceeded the 2021 level though the emphasis has shifted to racial justice and carbon emissions management as the two predominant themes(Table 1).
